Vice President, Retirement and Investment Services
“Your training partners are keys to your success, and friendships based on your runs together are strong.”
- Bill Rogers, American runner
Dave Pundick has never met Bill Rogers, but they share the same passion for running, emphasis on partnerships and agree that every day is a good day when you run.
When he’s not out for an invigorating run Dave manages Dehoney Financial Group’s Pension & Investment branch with the same passion he brings to running. He oversees group and individual retirement plans for DFG customers who appreciate his team’s hands-on approach to understanding their goals and retirement expectations. Together they develop strategies that have a broad range of options—an approach that ensures flexibility and sound financial management in an unpredictable economy.
Whether customers are still in their accumulation years or have retired, Dave helps them understand precisely where they stand, developing goals and a roadmap to confidently achieve them.
The DFG approach to retirement and investment planning is two-fold; first, provide all the information in a straightforward manner and second, create a tailor-made investment strategy. Dave and his team are always looking for the best investment opportunities and the best managed funds for their client’s portfolios.
Dave’s responsibilities include working with Dehoney’s group retirement clients and their Pension Plans, Group RSPs, Deferred Profit Sharing Plans and Capital Accumulation Plans. Compliance is paramount to his role; ensuring his clients and their plans are fulfilling their fiduciary duties. In working closely with group plan employees, Dave and his team provide investment education, investment planning assistance, retirement planning, and service support.
Dave joined Dehoney Financial Group in 1997, having previously been with a major Canadian insurer since graduating from the University of Manitoba with an Honors Economics Degree. In 2002 he earned his Certified Financial Planner designation and has been an active member of the Financial Planners Standards Council since that time.
Dave resides in White Rock, B.C. with his wife Nancy and their three children, Holly (just off to University), Connor and Emily.
